Amid the difficult circumstances Lebanon is facing, the holy month of Ramadan remains a time to spread goodness and strengthen the spirit of solidarity within the community 🌙
Al Amal for Development and Social Care team organized a series of Ramadan initiatives that reflected generosity and compassion. One of the highlights was a special iftar gathering for students attending Qur’an memorization circles, held in a warm and spiritual atmosphere that brought hearts together. This initiative brought joy to the students and deepened their connection to meaningful values, with generous and ongoing support from Syria Care, whose contribution was key to its success.
In another initiative reflecting a strong sense of humanitarian responsibility, and in collaboration with Nya Hopp – Sweden, the team hosted a Ramadan iftar for orphans and children with special needs at the care complex of the Islamic Orphanage in Dinneyeh. The gesture also extended to include paramedics, recognizing their dedication and continuous service on the front lines of care.
Ramadan this year has not been easy for anyone, but the commitment to stand by our communities has been stronger than the challenges. Through these initiatives, Al-Amal reaffirms that humanitarian work is an ongoing mission and that hope endures, no matter how difficult the circumstances.
